Ah yes. Hours of procrastination, late night SpongeBob SquarePants marathons, and the obligatory creamed spinach in the dining hall. Valentine and I have begun another school year. Perhaps this is the year when I will pull my best prank yet and be expelled.
Just kidding Maman...possibly.
You know the teachers keep me around for my witty personality and good looks.
It is strange. I see the same teachers each day and sleep in the same dormitory every night as I have done for years. Yet everything is different.
I have a beautiful Valentine at my side and there is a new world at my beck and call.
I stand up straighter when I am holding her hand and I feel less of the lesser in me and more of posibilities.
And I must admit that it is rather amusing when everyone does a double take to make sure that I am really holding hands with her.

I'm a friend of your sister, sort of. Charlotte and I have chatted up at jumpings before. Anyway, from Charlotte, I know that you don't live at school. You live in a house in Fontainebleau and you are driven to school everyday by a chauffeur. Oh, but perhaps you are trying to seem like one of those sexy prep school boys!? Pierre, darling, you are sexy the way you are! Is Valentine still at your school? I don't think so. I still see Valentine quite a lot at jumpings and we have many mutual friends. She is 19 at least, not in your school anymore. Maybe you mean another Valentine though. I assumed it was Valentine Pozzo di Borgo to whom you were referring, since I've been hearing rumors about the two of you! Everyone knows about you and I am so jealous! haha
